The News Team turn to American Football

With the NFL heading towards its most crucial point of the season, today’s Coral acca rightfully places focus on tonight’s intriguing set of fixtures.

There are 24 teams in action on Sunday evening going into Monday morning, and the Coral News Team have whittled them down to just five in order to form this Sunday’s acca.

If you back the chosen selections, you could be in line for a payout of £109.10 from a £5 stake. All prices and returns correct at time of writing.

Saints to beat Bills

Despite a winless opening two games, the Saints have turned things around. Six wins on the bounce puts them top of the NFC South. And with a fast-improving defence, the Coral News Team can’t see any way for the Bills to break the Saints’ resolve.

Sean Payton’s men kick things off at 7/10.

Titans to beat Bengals

After losing three of their opening five games, the Titans have hit a purple patch. They’re now on a three-game winning streak to take them to five and three for the season. Home form is equally as good for the Titans, who are three and one at the Nissan Stadium.

With top players, including Kevin Byard to call upon, the Titans are 4/9 to see off the beleaguered Bengals.

Jets to beat Buccaneers

Don’t let the Jets’ position at the bottom of the AFC East fool you – they should have plenty in the tank to see off the Buccaneers. Their opponents have won just two games all season and are currently on a five-game losing run.

By contrast, the Jets have won four games so far this season and have been unlucky not to win in at least three others. With a solid enough offense, Todd Bowles’ team are a good price at 8/11 to pour more misery on the Bucs.

Redskins to beat Vikings

The Vikings may be top of the NFC North, but trips to Washington haven’t always been easy for Mike Zimmer’s team. They’ve lost on their last two visits to FedExField, plus their road games so far this season have been far from straightforward.

They lost against the Steelers in week 2 and only narrowly overcame the Bears in week 5. Victory at Wembley over the Browns was more convincing, but this one is there for the taking for the home team at 11/10.

Cowboys to beat Atlanta

Commanding the longest-price in the whole acca are the Cowboys at 29/20. In what should be a game dominated by Ezekiel Elliott and the hosts’ Julio Jones, the Coral News Team fancy the former to come out on top.

The Cowboys are three and one on the road and cannot be ignored on a roll of three straight victories.
