UCL action is the backbone of this fivefold

The action comes thick and fast on Wednesday night. There’s a range of top-class Champions League ties on the card, as well as a smattering of Championship action.

The Coral News Team have studied the stats and come up with a fivefold acca on the evening’s entertainment. If it comes good, a £5 stake on this selection would return a handsome £210. Prices and returns mentioned correct at time of writing.

Besiktas to beat Monaco

The Turkish giants sit top of Group B with maximum points, and beat Les Monegasques 2-1 in the principality a fortnight ago. Having also managed four victories in a current streak of six home games without loss, they’ll likely prove too strong for AS Monaco.

Leonardo Jardim’s men lost virtually all their star names over the summer, and have struggled to recover. As well as taking just one point from three UCL games, they’ve been patchy in the league – suffering a 4-0 hammering at Nice last month. Besiktas to Win looks good value at 6/5.

Shakhtar Donetsk to beat Feyenoord

The Coral News Team reckon a Shakhtar win on home soil at 4/11 looks about as straightforward as they come. The Ukrainians have won six and drawn one of their past seven games at Donbass Arena, including a 2-1 defeat of Napoli last month.

Hirnyky have already won away to the Dutch side in the group stage, despite finishing the game with 10 men. Defeat has become increasingly familiar for this Feyenoord side. They’ve lost six of the last 11 in all competitions, including a first loss to NAC Breda in 10 meetings.

Brentford to beat Birmingham City

Dean Smith’s side have put those early-season relegation worries to bed, with a superb string of results. Now six unbeaten, the West London club bagged three goals en route to victory at Preston North End on Saturday. As for Bees’ striker Ollie Watkins, he’s in scintillating form, netting in four of the club’s last six games.

Birmingham could certainly do with a striker of his calibre. Blues have chalked up just eight goals in their 14 Championship games. They also didn’t fare too well last time these sides met. Brentford won 3-1 at St Andrews in January, and look good value for another three points in B9 at odds of 7/5.

Napoli v Man City: Both Teams to Score in First Half

Goals look a near-certainty as the respective table-toppers in Serie A and the Premier League face off. But while the 4/9 on Both Teams to Score looks a solid bet, the Coral News Team have picked out a longer shot which gives a huge boost to the potential profit here.

The Citizens have scored first-half goals in 10 of their past 13 games, while Napoli have registered nine times before the interval in their last eight outings. With this bet coming in within 13 minutes of City’s visit to The Hawthorns on Saturday, Both Teams to Score in First Half looks generously priced at 5/2.

Sevilla v Spartak Moscow: Spartak +2

The Russian side stunned Los Rojiblancos in Moscow a fortnight back, winning 5-1. That marked the first of two games this month where Krasno-Belye netted five – doing so against Spartak Nalchik last Wednesday.

Another emphatic win at Sevilla’s Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium looks unlikely, but the visitors still look remarkably long odds in the Double Chance at 17/10. However, the Coral News Team are finishing this acca of with a safe-looking Spartak +2 handicap at odds of 4/6.
