Segunda Division clash among fivefold

There may be no Premier League action on Monday night, but there’s still a string of intriguing fixtures across the U.K. and Europe. That includes FA Cup action, and key games from Spain and Germany’s second tiers.

The Coral News Team have studied the formbook and put together a fivefold accumulator which could potentially give your Monday a magnificent boost.

If all five selections come good, a £5 wager on this acca would return an incredible £583. Odds correct at the time of writing. Here are their tips…

Ballymena to beat Glentoran

Ballymena United may be seven points behind their hosts in the NIFL Premiership, but the visiting Sky Blues can take advantage of Glens’ dismal home form.

Gary Haveron’s men have failed to score in four successive games at The Oval, losing three of those. They were also beaten 1-0 in Ballymena less than a fortnight ago – while the Antrim club won 3-2 on their last visit to Glentoran.

At 11/5, victory for the visitors gives this acca a serious boost.

Chorley v Fleetwood Town: Fleetwood – 1

The Cod Army have taken eight points from their previous five away games, beating Bradford City (3-0) and Plymouth Argyle (2-1) in the process. So an FA Cup victory away to National League North side Chorley should be pretty straightforward.

The Magpies will be dreaming of a cup upset, but their recent form makes that look very unlikely. They head into this fixture having scored just two goals in three games, and haven’t progressed past this stage of the cup since 1996.

The Coral News Team like the Fleetwood -1 handicap at odds of 9/5.

Nurnberg v Ingolstadt: Both Teams to Score

Goals at both ends are to be expected anytime 1. FC Nurnberg are in action. Both sides have registered in 10 of Der Ruhmreiche’s last dozen games. Meanwhile, visitors Ingolstadt have scored three goals in each of their past three matches.

These sides’ Head-to-Head record also points to a bet on BTTS coming good. The pair’s most recent meetings saw a 1-1 draw and a 2-1 victory for Nurnberg. As for the hosts’ last Monday night game, that finished in a 4-3 win in Darmstadt last month. Both Teams to Score looks a solid addition at 8/13.

Le Havre to beat Reims

Reims are currently top of Ligue 2, but they’re unlikely to have things their own way when they visit Stade Oceane on Monday night.

Le Havre are unbeaten in 11 home league games, with Les Ciel et Marine winning seven of those. They’ve also got a striker in fine form, with Jean-Philippe Mateta finding the net in five of the past eight games.

As for Reims, they’ve lost three of their last six away games – including defeat to lowly Chatearoux. Le Havre to Win looks a savvy addition at 8/5.

Huesca v Real Zaragoza – Draw

Spain’s second tier seems to be getting more than its fair share of draws this season. And it seems another share of the spoils will be on the cards as SD Huesca host Zaragoza.

Los Manos have drawn a staggering five of their last seven league games, while three of Huesca’s past four have ended with honours-even.

Added to that is the fact three of the past five meetings between these two clubs have ended level. The Draw looks generously priced here at 21/10.
