Tuesday’s Carabao Cup acca could pay over £178 from a £5 stake

Five-fold includes Manchester United and Arsenal

The Carabao Cup resumes this week with only 16 teams left in the competition.  There are six games on Tuesday, five of which see top-flight sides taking on Championship opposition.

Cup competitions always produce some thrilling games. And there’ll be even more excitement with this acca from the Coral News Team.

If all five selections come in, a £5 wager could return a huge £178.30. All prices and returns correct at time of writing.

Manchester United to beat Swansea City

Swansea may be ideal opposition for Manchester United on Tuesday. United are looking to bounce back from their shock defeat to Huddersfield Town.

Jose Mourinho could leave out several regular starters and still have enough quality to win this relatively comfortably.

United are 1/2 to win. It would be a huge shock if they weren’t in the draw for the quarter-finals.

Leicester City to beat Leeds United

Leicester beat Swansea 2-1 last weekend following Craig Shakespeare’s dismissal. This game gives them a chance to start putting a run of form together.

Leeds have impressed this season and could provide tough opposition. But the Foxes are odds-on at 1/2 and should be too strong here.

Bristol City to beat Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace are bottom of the Premier League. They desperately need to pick up points. And they could rest players against Bristol City ahead of Saturday’s winnable home game against West Ham.

Bristol City are slight outsiders at 17/10. But they’re unbeaten at home so far this season. Lee Johnson has also said he’ll pick his strongest possible side.

Middlesbrough to beat Bournemouth

This selection transforms Tuesday’s acca into a huge potential win. Middlesbrough are 18/5 to beat Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium.

They’re long odds but Boro are unbeaten in their last five away games in all competitions. Bournemouth’s focus may be on this weekend’s game against Chelsea too.

Like Palace, Bournemouth are in the relegation zone. Eddie Howe is likely to prioritise the league over a cup run and may select his team accordingly.

Arsenal to beat Norwich City

Arsene Wenger is likely to rotate heavily at home to Norwich. But the players that come in will be in good shape, having played in the Europa League this season.

The likes of Olivier Giroud, Jack Wilshere and Theo Walcott should all feature for the Gunners. It’s hard to see beyond a 3/10 home win.
