Sunday’s World Cup Qualifying Acca pays over £90 from a £5 stake
Coral look at the final round of qualifiers
The World Cup qualifying process may almost be at its conclusion, but there are still 10 fascinating clashes to enjoy this evening.
From Africa to Europe, the Coral News Team have scoured the continents for tonight’s tasty acca.
Three of the chosen sides are odds-on fancies, yet this fanciful five-fold still yields a total profit of £90.35 from a £5 stake.
England to beat Lithuania
Things get going with England, who travel to play Lithuania in a 5pm kick-off. The Three Lions qualified for Russia 2018 last Thursday but will be looking to end their campaign on a high.
Gareth Southgate’s men haven’t lost away in a World Cup qualifier since 2009. They’re expected to do the job here at 1/3.
Scotland to beat Slovenia
With Slovakia at home to Malta, this is a must-win game for Scotland. The good news for the travelling Tartan Army is that the Scots have never lost against Slovenia.
They beat tonight’s opponents 1-0 at Hampden Park in March. And on their only previous visit to Ljubljana, they won 3-0. The Coral News Team are expecting Gordon Strachan’s men to make it four wins from five at 33/20.
Poland to beat Montenegro
Poland have won seven from nine in Group E, including all five of their home games. They’re also unbeaten in all three of their previous games against Montenegro.
That should be reason enough to side with the 4/11 on offer for the home win in this one.
Egypt to beat Congo
Just under 3,000km away in Borg El Arab, Egypt will be going for the win that could confirm their place in Russia next year.
They’ve won both of their home games in Group E so far and have star player Mohamed Salah in fantastic form. If that’s not enough, the Egyptians have won seven from eight against opponents Congo. At 1/4, they’re a nice inclusion to pad this acca out.
Northern Ireland to beat Norway
Northern Ireland are on the verge of the play-offs while Norway are scrapping for third with the Czech Republic and Azerbaijan. With five wins and five clean sheets from their last six games, Norn Ireland are bang in form.
They cruised to a comfortably 2-0 win against Norway at Windsor Park in March and should do the same here. Michael O’Neill’s boys provide the value at 2/1.
