Super Sunday and Euro action feature
October’s football schedule draws to a close with an excellent feast of Sunday soccer.
The Coral News Team have done what they do best – scour the fixtures for the best bets.
Stick £5 on today’s five-fold, and if all five selections win, you could win £87.25! All prices and selections correct at time of writing.
Brighton to beat Southampton
Brighton and Hove Albion are ticking along just fine in their first year of Premier League football.
And that’s largely thanks to a solid record at home.
Chris Hughton’s men are unbeaten in three at the Amex, while a 3-0 victory at West Ham last week was thoroughly deserved.
In fine form, the Seagulls are a great price at 11/5 to beat a Southampton side who don’t strike fear into any defence.
Leicester City to beat Everton
The second half of Super Sunday really is an unusual one. Leicester have appointed Claude Puel this week and his arrival could – and should – spark an improvement for the former champions.
David Unsworth has a tough task on his hands. The Toffees have a talented squad, but nobody yet knows how best to utilise it.
That’s not a problem for Leicester. The Foxes’ team pretty much picks itself and that should give them the advantage at 11/10.
Real Madrid to beat Girona
Over to the continent where Real Madrid seek a fifth straight La Liga win.
Zinedine Zidane’s side have dropped points three times this season, but surprisingly they all came at the Bernabeu.
It’s four wins from four on the road, while Girona have won only one of their five home games, conceding eight times in the process. An away win beckons at a comfortable 1/4.
Napoli to beat Sassuolo
Serie A leaders Napoli keep the accumulator ticking along at 2/13.
Gli Azzurri have won nine and drawn one of their 10 games, while visitors Sassuolo have already lost six times.
I Neroverdi are no strangers to an upset, but having conceded 16 goals already this season, Napoli should far too much strength up front with Dries Mertens and co.
Stuttgart to beat Freiburg
The acca concludes in Germany where Stuttgart are an excellent 4/5 to win at home to Freiburg.
VFB may be firmly in the bottom half, but that’s because they’ve lost all of their five away games.
It’s 10 points from a possible 12 at home though.
And with Freiburg winless on the road – scoring once while conceding 13 – Stuttgart will be understandably confident of another three points on their own patch.
