Five selections from tonight’s UCL action

The Champions League continues tonight, with plenty more continental drama in store.

Chelsea, Man United and Celtic are all in action from a British perspective, while Paris Saint-Germain versus Bayern Munich is the stand out tie.

It’s a big night, and Coral’s football anoraks have run through the games to pick out a tasty five-fold.

Stick a £5 stake on tonight’s accumulator, and if all selections win you could bag £171.90. Prices and returns correct at the time of writing.

Roma to beat Qarabag

After drawing their opening group game with Atletico Madrid, Roma can claim their first win of the campaign at Qarabag.

It’s a long trip to Baku, but in a group also featuring Chelsea anyone who doesn’t collect six points against the Azerbaijan side could be in trouble.

Roma will be plenty aware of that, and are 4/9 to kick-off tonight’s acca with a win.

Man United to beat CSKA

An away trip to Moscow is never easy, but Jose Mourinho has been around long enough to ensure his Manchester United side get three points.

The hosts claimed a surprise win at Benfica, but have failed to score in their last two games.

Given that Mourinho’s side look imperious at the back already, the Red Devils should be untroubled defensively. That can allow Romelu Lukaku and co to roam forward, leading to an away win at 4/6.

PSG to beat Bayern

Potentially the game of the night, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich meet having both been held to a draw at the weekend.

Neymar and Mbappe will be out to make up for failing to score against Montpellier. Bayern should never be discounted, but a narrow home win would boost Coral’s acca nicely at Evens.

Celtic to beat Anderlecht

Pitched in a group with PSG and Bayern Munich, Celtic and Anderlecht are scrapping for third place.

The Belgian outfit have won just one of their last 17 Champions League games however, which should give Brendan Rodgers’ side all the confidence needed to grab a crucial away win.

Having drawn away at Borussia Monchengladbach and Man City last year – two sides far stronger than Anderlecht – a Celtic win is on the cards at 12/5.

Atletico Madrid to beat Chelsea

They may have taken Diego Costa off their hands, but Chelsea won’t find Atletico Madrid so accommodating tonight.

Settling in to the new stadium, Diego Simeone’s men boast an enviable home record in the Champions League.

Unbeaten in their last 11, Atletico have conceded just twice in that spell, keeping nine clean sheets.

Couple that with Chelsea winning only three of their last 12 in the competition away from Stamford Bridge, and a home win awaits at 11/10.
