Five picks from Europe’s top leagues

The English football season’s already in full swing and La Liga, Serie A and the Bundesliga all join the party this weekend.

Today’s fixtures for your Sunday acca take you on a whirlwind tour across the continent, while taking in the best of the Premier League action too.

Follow Coral with a £5 stake and you could score a huge windfall of £102.50. Prices and returns mentioned are correct at the time of writing.

Let’s take a look at today’s five-fold…

Lille to beat Caen

It gets started at Lille, who’ll be aiming to improve on last year’s 11th-place finish this time round.

Marcelo Bielsa’s had the whole summer to drill his players in his demanding system and they should start the acca with a home win against Caen at 4/6.

Freiburg to beat Eintracht Frankfurt

Over to Germany next, where Freiburg are 6/4 to kick off with a win against Eintracht Frankfurt.

Frankfurt have lost their last seven away games – a new club record. They’ve only won one of their last seven games against Freiburg too. It’s tough to see them improving either of those records on Sunday.

Tottenham Hotspur to beat Chelsea

Closer to home, the Coral football experts think Tottenham will be too strong for a weakened Chelsea side.

Tottenham struggled at Wembley last season. There’d be no better way to shake off those doubts than with a convincing win over the champions.

Antonio Conte has made it clear he needs more players and it’s hard to see the Blues getting anything out of this one. Spurs are priced at 21/20 for the win.

Athletic Bilbao to beat Getafe

In Spain, Getafe have the tough task of a trip to Athletic, who’ve won each of the last six games between the two clubs.

Real Madrid and Barcelona were the only away sides to win at the San Mames Stadium in league action last season and the home side are big favourites at 8/15.

AC Milan to beat Crotone

It’s been a very exciting summer for AC Milan. After years of underachievement, they’ve brought in 10 new players, including Juventus star Leonardo Bonucci.

There’s a wave of optimism amongst the Rossoneri and they should ride it to an opening win over Crotone at 6/10.
