Six worth having from England and Scotland

The opening weekend of the English Premier League season, and Coral punters can start as they mean to go on with a winning accumulator. Watford host Liverpool in the Saturday afternoon kick-off to get the ball rolling, before champions Chelsea welcome Burnley to Stamford Bridge.

Our football team have run through the domestic football fixture list and return with our Saturday football acca – big wins for small stakes. Follow us in for a £5 stake and you could land a £142.70 pay-out. Prices and returns mentioned are correct at the time of writing.

Let’s flick through the six selections…..

Chelsea beat Burnley

Antonio Conte leads his champions out at Stamford Bridge for a 3.00pm kick-off, and The Blues are expected to get their defence off to a winning start. They haven’t been quite as active in the transfer window so far as fans would’ve hoped, missing out on Lukaku, but are a stronger side than the one that finished last season. The perfect place to start – home win at 1/4 looks tailor-made for our needs.

Southampton beat Swansea

With the banker out of the way, we move to St Mary’s and take Southampton to get the better of Welsh reps Swansea. The visitors were lucky to avoid relegation last term, escaping the drop thanks to a late surge, but we expect them to struggle again this year, starting with defeat in week one. New Saints boss Mauricio Pellegrino signed Juventus midfielder Mario Lemina on Tuesday and now looks to have a side capable of holding their own at this level. 8/13 on the home win is added.

Everton beat Stoke

The final selection of three from the top-flight, and we couldn’t ignore Everton at home. The Toffees have been amongst the most active teams in Europe over the summer, bringing in a host of ambitious names, including returning hero Wayne Rooney. They lost Romelu Lukaku, but are more than equipped to deal with that. Everton have real strength in depth and if Koeman knows his best 11, they’ll rack up an impressive win. 4/6 should do us a favour.

Hull beat Burton

Dropping into the Championship, and Hull City had to settle for a draw with Aston Villa last weekend on the road. They are back at the KCOM, and have to be fancied vs a Burton Albion side beaten 1-0 by Cardiff on their own patch last time, failing to register a shot on target. They weren’t too much better in midweek, scraping past Oldham 3-2 in the EFL Cup. Tigers to roar at 8/13.

Rangers beat Hibs

Game of the day in Scotland as two sides boasting week one wins face-off in Govan. The Bears warmed up for this with a 6-0 cheer over Dunfermline in the League Cup, but fans will learn a lot about where Pedro Caixinha’s new-look side is at when faced with a tougher test in Neil Lennon’s Hibs. The visitors chinned top-six side Partick Thistle last week, and we have a fascinating 90 minutes ahead. Give Rangers the nod at home – in front of a packed-out Ibrox – at Coral’s 3/4.

Inverness beat Dunfermline

Finishing off in the Scottish Championship, and Inverness failed to impress last week, following their relegation from the top-tier with a home defeat vs title rivals Dundee United. They’ll get nothing for free at this level, but The Pars will be battered and bruised following that 6-0 loss in midweek at Ibrox and, for that reason, we support Caley at a cracking 2/1.
