We’ve picked five of the best value matches from across Europe, making for a big price return, all for small stakes. Every £1 down pays £125.19, if we are in luck. Let’s run through the legs…..

Brighton beat QPR

We’re getting the impression no one wants to win the English Championship this season. Newcastle were tipped by just about everyone to be long gone over the hill by now, but it has not worked out like that, and Brighton remain within touching distance, with the two flip-flopping between first and second.

The Seagulls get the chance to move back to the top on Friday night and steal a march on their rivals, who are not out until Saturday evening. Newcastle have a tough assignment away to Sheffield Wednesday, and Brighton can crank up the pressure by taking three points here. They have won four of their last five, and each of their last two, while QPR have lost their last two goes, both without scoring a goal. Coral have a Brighton win at 11/10, and that’s real value to start us off.

Villarreal beat Athletic Bilbao

We’re off globetrotting for the other four legs in the acca, starting with a Villarreal win over Bilbao in the Spanish La Liga. There’s very little between these two going into this one, just a point in the league in fact, with Villarreal in fifth and their opponents sitting sixth. This promises to be a competitive match, but I am siding with the hosts, who won last time out courtesy of a 1-0 over Real Betis. They’ve taken four of their last six, with each of their last three victories coming to nil. Bilbao are no pushovers, but we rate home comforts at 5/4.

Werder Bremen beat Frankfurt

Dropping in on the German Bundesliga, and Bremen are picked to better Frankfurt. Bremen are three places and a couple of points lower in the rankings than their opponents, but they enter in fantastic form, unbeaten in their last eight league games, a run showing no less than six wins. Compare that to the form of Frankfurt, who are a team without a win in eight, six defeats and two draws. They went down 1-0 to Koln last time, and are very easy to oppose at 13/5.

Nice beat Lille

Nice are third in the table, having suffered just one defeat in their last 10. That spare came way back in early February, and since they have won five and drawn three of their next eight. Victory over Lille on Friday would move them to within a point of Monaco at the top of Ligue 1. That is very achievable against an opponent down in 13th, with more defeats than wins on the board so far. Nice have more to play for and the 11/5 about the better team shouldn’t be ignored.

Braga beat Feirense

Lastly, it’s Braga from the Portuguese Primeira Liga. The selection arrives on a five-match unbeaten run, and sit fourth in the pile. They have no chance of going and challenging leaders Benfica, but still have plenty to fight for, with sides beneath them applying the pressure. A top-four will be Braga’s aim, and victory here will move them a step closer to achieving that. 13/10 looks well worth a go, and they round us off.
