Chisnall beat Klaasen
Chizzy got the win he so desperately needed in week three, beating Huybrechts 7-4, lifting himself to eighth in the process. Opponent Klaasen is now rock-bottom, the only man left in the competition without a point on the board. That will do nothing for his confidence, and we are siding with Chsinall, at a decent even money with Coral.
Van Gerwen beat Lewis
It’s always difficult to oppose MVG, and we certainly won’t be doing it here, especially with Lewis looking out of sorts this year. Jackpot, who lost to Wade last week, seems like he is struggling to get up for matches these days and you really can’t give the Dutchman any kind of encouragement. 2/9 isn’t for singles, but it’ll pull its weight in our acca.
Anderson beat Wade
Gary Anderson was a surprise loser against Wright last time out, but he has been handed the perfect opportunity to get his title charge back on track when facing the always-unpredictable James Wade. The Scotsman has been seen struggling against The Machine in recent meetings, but the form so far makes Anderson the sensible pick at 4/7.
Taylor beat Huybrechts
Another selection that strikes me as obvious, but the traders seem to have picked up on that. Taylor has absolutely dominated past meetings with Huybrechts and, having already said that this will be his final Premier League Darts assault, The Power can be relied upon to go out in style. We’re giving 1/2, and that’s not a bad offer, all things considered.
Wright beat Barneveld
Wright was always going to be a force in this year’s tournament, it’s just about picking him at the right time. The Scotsman showed exactly what he is about when winning a derby with Gary Anderson last week, grinding out a 7-5 result. Barney was, once again, beaten by Phil Taylor, and has won just one of his three starts so far. The even money about Snakebite seems worth inclusion.
