In this inaugural ranking event added to an already jam-packed snooker schedule, as part of the new Home Nations Series, the likes of Mark Allen and John Higgins will feature in what should be another dramatic day.

Highfield and Day to go to deciding frame

Allen to beat Bingtao 4-1
Following a comfortable 4-1 opening success over Mark King, Northern Ireland break builder Allen will hold plenty of confidence going into his latest match-up against Yan Bingtao.
The Pistol, a three-time ranking event winner, dropped just a single frame in his maiden outing and is 3/1 to overcome 16-year-old Chinese potter Bingtao with another 4-1 result in Manchester.
Higgins to win three straight frames against Patrick
Veteran Scottish potter John Higgins will take to the baize again after a routine victory over Scott Donaldson. The four-time Crucible victor rallied to a 4-1 success and will next face compatriot and inexperienced cueist Fraser Patrick.
Higgins is obviously the overwhelming favourite to prevail, but the Wizard of Wishaw can be backed at a promising 12/5 to win a maximum of three consecutive frames during proceedings.
Williams to lead Preece 3-1 after four frames
Two-time world champion Mark Williams tackles fellow Welshman Ian Preece in his next contest and is 7/5 to hold a 3-1 lead this time out after four frames played.
The vastly experienced Welsh Potting Machine, who was the first player to book his place in the last 32, overcame Ian Burns with an impressive 4-1 victory in the previous round.
