Cuine ready to Rumble at Harlow

Mixed action from Harlow and Towcester takes centre stage on Racing Post Greyhound TV tonight (Sky 468, Freesat 250) and T6 Cuine Rumble rates the standout bet at the former in the 415m Standard Open at 21:15.

The son of Ace High Rumble made an impressive debut for trainer Samantha West when showing bags of early pace to make all and score by 2 3/4 lengths from Live Tornado over course and distance seven days ago.

Greyhounds - Newcastle Ground Track

Victory never looked in any doubt from the moment the traps opened and to go under 26 seconds in a first competitive outing at the venue suggested the selection was one to keep onside.

The form of the race has also been franked by the winner having since come out and won an Open final at Romford and this looks a nice opportunity for Cuine Rumble to follow-up from what looks a good draw in the stripes.

Philidolly worth a punt

In the 582m Stayers Open (21:48) T2 Philidolly looks drawn to get back to winning ways.

Nina Shine’s bitch was slowly away and encountered trouble in running when fourth over the standard 415m trip last week but had previously scored in runaway style on six bend debut.

Greyhounds - Romford Greyhound Stadium

After flashing from the lids and producing a lightning 14.90 sectional, Philidolly led at the first before pulling clear to slam Swift Slaney by 7 1/2 lengths.

She has nothing to fear from that re-opposing rival and looks nicely housed between two sleepers to ping out and establish a long enough lead to fend off main market rival T6 Sunday Rain.

Coolavanny can give Towcester rivals the Slip

T4 Coolavanny Slip has excelled since being stepped up in trip and rates a solid bet to land the RPGTV Stayers Open at Towcester (21:56).

Mark Lowther’s bitch has won four of her six starts at the track and is two from three when sporting the black jacket.

Greyhounds - Brough Park

She also comes into the contest having won both her starts over the 655m trip by an average of six lengths.

In the first of those she beat Coral Regency hero Billys Bullet by three lengths and that is top class form and sets a clear standard in this line-up.

Airforce Duchess set for take-off

Airforce Duchess has some top class form to her name and looks decent value to land the RPGTV Standard Open (21:24).

Mark Wallis’ bitch has won six of her 19 starts at the track and has a near 50 per cent strike rate when wearing the orange jacket.

Greyhounds - Romford Greyhound Stadium

She also ran a blinder when runner-up in the Lowther Stakes over course and distance four starts back and has since run really well to win and finish runner-up twice.

The daughter of Definate Opinion is a powerful sort, but is also not devoid of early pace and if turning handy can prove too strong for her rivals at the business end of affairs.
