Lady can lord it over Harlow rivals

There are five Open races on a 12-race card at Harlow tonight screened live on Racing Post Greyhound TV (Sky 468, Freesat 250) and T4 Talltrees Lady looks cracking value to land the 21:48.

Tommy Batchelor’s bitch is five from six at the venue and comes into the contest on the back of an impressive four-timer.

Having won an A5 and A4 by an average of just under five lengths, Talltrees Lady has taken the step up into Open company on her stride step to bag a brace of successes.

In the last of those seven days ago she overcame crowding and showed bags of early dash to turn in front at the first bend and power clear to score by three lengths.

It was a most taking display and Talltrees Lady is clearly thriving at present and needs keeping firmly onside.

The daughter of Ja Mann is also 1-1 when sporting the black jacket and, with the favourite T3 Stone Park Mo returning to the standard trip following a spell sprinting, can time it right in the traps to ping out and make all.

Rough Infinity drawn to cut loose

In the Sprint (20.10), T6 Rough Infinity can exploit what looks a peach of a draw to land the spoils.

Alison Kelly-Pilgrim’s dog has only won one of his 16 starts in Open company but has a best recent time of 14.92 and that gives him every chance in this line-up.

Rough Infinity also boasts a healthy strike rate of 30 per cent from Trap 6 having won six of his 18 starts in the striped jacket, and as the sole wide seed should gets acres of space on the run to the first bend.

With the possibility of crowding on the inside a smash break can see him capitalise and quickly establish a winning lead.

Emmas Friend can complete hat-trick

T2 Emmas Friend is a bitch in form and makes plenty of appeal in the Maiden Stayers at 21:15.

Darren Whitton’s charge has won her last two races in terrific style and produced a lightning start in the first of those over course and distance when clocking a 15.00 sectional to make all and score by a length.

A reproduction of that split should be more than good enough for Emmas Friend to lead at the first bend.

If doing so she should be able to establish a healthy lead and is a really tough sort to pass when getting on the bunny.
