Young Jet set for take-off at Romford
Graded action from Peterborough and Romford takes centre stage on Racing Post Greyhound TV tonight (Live Sky 468, Freesat 250) and T1 Young Jet rates the best bet at the latter in the S1 at 20:50.
Paul Young’s dog is a tough sort who has some useful form to his name in the grade and also Opens.
He went down by just a short-head over course and distance two starts back and backed that up with a solid second in an Open at Harlow.
The son of Droopys Jet is also consistent at the traps and has a 13.75 sectional to his name and looks to have a great draw in red to boss the inside and turn the first bend in front.
If doing so, Young Jet can quickly open up a lead and stamp his authority on the race.
Daniels Delight drawn to deliver
In the A2 (21:56), the promising and lightly-raced Daniels Delight looks decent value to land the spoils.
Jim Reynolds’ youngster has quickly progressed through the grades, landing an A6 before following up two starts later in impressive fashion when flying from the traps to make all and land an A4 by 2 1/2 lengths.
He was also far from disgraced last time out in this grade when runner-up to Ballintemple Joe after getting bumped at the first and doesn’t have much to find on the clock with main market rival Duke Swaby.
Daniels Delight is also open to stacks of improvement after just five runs and both his successes have come when sporting the white jacket.
With the possibility of jostling on the inside he can ping out to capitalise and make all.
Romford selections

21:56 T3 Daniels Delight (NB)
Ballymac Cremin to collect in Peterborough sprint
T1 Ballymac Cremin has a good strike rate at Peterborough and can exploit whats looks a good draw to further enhance it in the D1 there this evening (19:39).
Sarah Spillane’s dog has won 12 of his 39 starts at the venue and ran very well in an Open three starts back when runner-up to Kildare Hi.
The son of Droopys Scolari then found the competition too hot in another Open over course and distance before getting back to winning ways when landing a D2 last time out.
Ballymac Cremin banged out to lead the rails and make all on what was just his third start back from a break.
He is entitled to come on again for that outing and looks nicely housed in red to once again turn the first bend in front for a trap-to-line success.
Bossy Boots can kick rivals into touch
In the A3 (20:42), T1 Bossy Boots can complete the hat-trick.
Richard Devenish’s daughter of Ballymac Eske has won seven of her 20 starts at the track and is two from five in the grade.
She is also three from eight when sporting the red jacket and comes into the contest on the back of successes in A5 and A4 company.
This is tougher but Bossy Boots is ex-season and remains open to plenty more improvement in the coming weeks.
Bossy Boots has also competed at A2 level in the past and has enough early pace to turn handy or even lead in this line-up.
Peterborough selections
19:39 T1 Ballymac Cremin (NAP)
20:42 T1 Bossy Boots (NB)
