It’s time to go continental again with Coral, as we highlight the most intriguing encounters across Europe with five fantastic weekend wagers worth a flutter. There’s everything from a Bundesliga battle between Bayer Leverkusen and Hertha Berlin to Eredivisie action from Ajax and Twente, not to mention marvellous match-ups in La Liga and Serie A too.
So, get comfy, pull up a stool and read our top weekend tips…
Bayer Leverkusen v Hertha Berlin – Leverkusen to win and both score

Still, Leverkusen easily look most likely with a string of five successive victories behind them. The Bayer side boasting Javier Hernandez, Julian Brandt, Karim Bellarabi and co outscored Schalke last time out, while the Berlin boys slumped to a loss to Bayern Munich and have gone four in the league without a win.
So, as buoyed Bayer are the in-form outfit and have ended as victors in this fixture at the BayArena for the last two terms on the trot, but still conceded in those games, those 5/2 odds could prove prudent.
Real Betis v Barcelona – Barca to bag five or more

This bet for Barcelona to clock-up a quintet or more of goals against Real Betis may seem outlandish at first glance, but this 13/5 price could well pay off.
Wounded by their Champions League exit Barca have eventually regrouped and bitten back at critics in style – scoring 14 goals across their last two Liga games, with the tremendous trio of Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar all on target and firing again. Beware then minnows Betis, who host having recently lost the Seville derby.
To boot, the Catalan kings are not only scoring up a storm now but also previously in this encounter, where they have historically racked up the goals with four scored past the Seville-based side in the reverse and 31 bagged over the previous nine meetings. Not bad.
Ajax v Twente – draw result

The Pride of the East have pounced to pinch a draw already this season on their own soil, and Twente have actually forced Ajax to end evenly in three from the last five dust-ups between these couple of Eredivisie outfits. Add to the mix that The Lancers have had to split the spoils in two of their past three home outings as well against teams they are traditionally expected to beat, and a Twente point looks tempting.
Valencia v Villarreal – Paco Alcacer to poach first

Though it is Spain sharpshooter Alcacer that may be of most interest to Villarreal’s tactician Marcelino Garcia Toral, as the poacher has pushed himself to prominence with four goals from his previous two tussles.
As the Yellow Submarine appear to be putting all their eggs in one Europa League basket, with no victories from their three fixtures in between their last two continental clashes, Alcacer (4/1 for the first goal) will be licking his lips at the prospect of facing a potentially lethargic Liga defence.
Lazio v Inter Milan – Nerazzurri to net two or more

Inter can be backed at 6/4 for two or more goals in the Italian capital, having hit that number or better three of the previous meetings with lacklustre Lazio.
The Nerazzurri notched three in their last outing also and are more than capable of registering two plus against the Eagles, as the hosts have not taken flight this term and are without a win in two, across which they conceded five.
