Final day of darts in Glasgow
The first-ever World Series of Darts Finals can certainly be considered a success, as Coral oche experts look forward to a final day of arrowsmith encounters on Scottish soil.
Here we preview the quarter-final clashes, which begin at 12:45 GMT on ITV4, before considering who could go on to take the inaugural title, with the grand finale due to air on the same channel from 19:00 after a two-hour intermission.

James Wade v Peter Wright
The Machine looked well-oiled in his opening outing on Saturday evening as the untroubled Englishman clocked-up a 103.66 average, the highest of the tournament so far, and also holds a dominant head-to-head record of 13 wins from 17 against Snakebite. Though, crucially in the Grand Slam of Darts, Wade showed he can crumble when the cards don’t fall his way.
Wily Wright, by comparison, took a short while to warm-up before beating bullish German teenager Max Hopp, but eventually emerged as a 6-3 victor. Throwing on home turf could prove key, so with both priced odds-on at 10/11 to triumph, it may be better to back Snakebite at 15/2 to edge his familiar foe 10-9.
Raymond van Barneveld v Michael van Gerwen
There’s no small matter of a match against currently unplayable compatriot Van Gerwen up first though and Barney is 4/1 to beat the 6/4 tournament favourite.
With both on top form this should be a cracker, though it is still tough to see past prolific Mighty Mike, who gained revenge against recent Grand Prix of Darts conqueror Robert Thornton in his first fray, at 1/6 to ultimately clinch the spoils.
Stephen Bunting v Phil Taylor
Punters can back The Power at a fantastic 5/2 to add this first-time title to his extensive and unparalleled collection, or at 2/9 to steer past St Helens star Bunting, who has beaten Taylor just once in eight attempts. Having won six World Series of Darts events, including three in 2015, the world number three is a superb shout to go all the way.
Adrian Lewis v Terry Jenkins
Plucky Jenkins’ hoodoo over The Flying Scotsman continues and the outsider’s luck is 2/1 to continue against Jackpot, who he shocked with 6-5 victory back in September. Lewis (2/5) overcame a potential banana skin of his own in Keegan Brown and should have too much quality overall, though with The Bull in form it could be a close clash.
