Aston Villa v West Brom – Home win
Villa have not lost to their West Midlands rivals on home soil since 2011 and will be confident of extending that record this time out, as they look to bounce back from last week’s stunning defeat to Leicester City.

Bournemouth v Sunderland – Home win
The Cherries have never toppled Sunderland in six previous meetings, though the two have not collided since 1990, but it’s a great place to start on home soil for Eddie Howe’s so far stuttering side.

Newcastle v Watford – Home win
Steve McClaren will be hopeful of reviving his Toon side’s campaign with three points against Watford, a team which the Magpies have not lost to in over two decades.

Stoke v Leicester – Draw
The Foxes incredibly sit in second place of the Premier League table at this early stage of the campaign, while Stoke are still searching for their victory this term, though expect Mark Hughes’ Potters to fight back.

Swansea v Everton – Draw
These two teams are level on points, being separated by goal difference and have drew their last two meetings, so expect the spoils to be shared once again in Wales.

Bristol City v Reading – Away Win
The visitors are in better form going into this clash, despite a narrow defeat to Derby last time out, while their opponents are in the bottom three. A victory for the Royals could see them edge into a play-off spot so back them for a win.

Hull v QPR – Draw
Two sides relegated from the Premier League last season, they are both going strong in the Championship so far. The Tigers won both fixtures though, with their home match finishing in a 2-1 win. Steve Bruce’s side are in the play-offs while the west London outfit are just outside. This could well end in a draw.

Wolves v Brighton – Away Win
Top of the table visit Molineux and the Seagulls will be looking to keep their unbeaten run going, however last term both sides recorded 1-1 draws against each other. Wolves lost last time out, while Brighton were 2-1 winners against Rotherham.

Bradford v Sheffield United – Draw
The Blades are flying high in League One, while the West Yorkshire side are mid-table. However, this is deceptive, with Bradford unbeaten in four, while Nigel Adkins’ side have lost two on the spin. Back a draw here.

Tottenham v Crystal Palace – Draw
Alan Pardew’s side were unlucky last time out to lose to Manchester City, while Spurs were lacklustre in their narrow 1-0 win over Sunderland. The Eagles have established themselves as hard to beat and they can make life difficult for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.

Hearts v Aberdeen – Away win
Scottish Premiership table-toppers Aberdeen have made the best of starts to the season, winning all seven of their games, and now travel to Hearts who have lost their last two. Back an away victory.

Southampton v Manchester United – Draw
Rival Dutch managers Ronald Koeman and Louis van Gaal go head-to-head again, and both tasted victory over the other away from home last season. Neither side have played their best this season, though, so go for a draw.

Villarreal v Athletic Bilbao – Home win
The Yellow Submarine have won two, while the Basque outfit have lost twice this term in La Liga. Villarreal triumphed here last season too, and look decent shouts to do so again.

Napoli v Lazio – Away win
Rome-outfit Lazio won twice away last term against Napoli, who are without a victory this season in Serie A so far.

Derby v Burnley – Away win
The Clarets are undefeated in their last 10 and have won the previous four games against the Rams, so should be backed to beat them again.
