Brilliant Burnley look set to halt Rams’ charge at Pride Park

After five and three winless games at the start of the 2015/16 Championship season respectively for Derby County (11/10 match favourites with Coral) and Burnley, the two clubs have now picked up the pace by getting consecutive victories.

Having put their slow starts behind them, the Rams have gained momentum and have triumphed in their previous two, while the Clarets have looked unstoppable with four in succession.

It is the latter who boast by far the better recent head-to-head record too, being undefeated against Derby in their last 10 meetings and winning eight of them, so are brilliant value at 11/4 to take all three points again.

Burnley are currently up in fourth place with a game in hand, and can go level in second and three points behind leaders Brighton and Hove Albion with a fifth straight victory.

Three of the Clarets’ last seven wins against the Rams have been 2-1 results, so take tempting odds of 11/1 for them to win by that scoreline once more.

The likes of Sam Vokes, who netted against the Rams away two seasons ago, Matty Taylor and Michael Keane have all been on target this term more than once for Sean Dyche’s men. You can back them at 2/1, 5/1 and 7/1 respectively to score again anytime here.

For the hosts, meanwhile, Chris Martin and Johnny Russell have been their main men, and are respective 5/4 and 7/4 shouts in the same market. Russell recently just signed a new three-year deal with the East Midlands outfit, so is 6/1 to celebrate that by striking last, as he did against both Middlesbrough and Birmingham this term.

Exciting attacker Thomas Ince got a second half winner against Reading for Paul Clement’s side last time out, so is also 7/4 to score anytime and 6/1 both to dispatch first and last.

Coral’s top tip: Recently relegated Burnley have won their last four league fixtures, and enjoy beating Derby 2-1, so back them at 11/1 to triumph by that scoreline again.
