Coral’s rumour reel: Arsenal to nab two attackers?

Arsenal are the stars of this morning’s rumour reel, as we lead on an intriguing rumour regarding Leicester City’s Riyad Mahrez.
The Algeria international has had an electric start to the season, supposedly sparking interest from the Gunners, who are 11/2 with Coral to win the Premier League.
However, it is reported Mahrez is more of a long-term target for the Londoners, with Arsene Wenger keen to see the dazzling winger’s form is not just a flash in the pan.
Wenger has already stated Arsenal are ‘open and in the transfer market’. “If we find an exceptional player in any sector, we will do it,” added the Frenchman.
Spanish press have reported that the exceptional player could well be *drum roll* PSG poacher Edinson Cavani, with the Gunners prepared to go gung-ho in one final attempt to land the Uruguayan forward.

PSG may want to keep Cavani close, but it seems they are not so concerned about Dutch defender Gregory Van der Wiel, who could be bundled off to Everton in a player plus cash deal for Seamus Coleman.
Sticking with the City of Lights, the Parisians might just get a taste of their own medicine, as Chelsea are believed to be interested in bringing Brazil centre back Marquinhos to the Bridge.
Going from one Samba star to another leads us back to Leicester, where Claudio Ranieri could capture Bayern Munich defender Dante for as little as £5m, with the German giants though to be ready to sell.
Tottenham, meanwhile, may prove to be big movers and shakers ahead of deadline day, with engine room target Victor Wanyama thought to have informed Southampton that he wants a summer switch.
Belgiun midfielder Mousa Dembele is tipped to be the departure that opens up squad space at White Hart Lane, as Napoli are said to be tracking the Spurs star. However, while the Little Donekys are eyeing a loan deal, the London club want cold, hard cash.
Elsewhere in the English capital, Hull City hitman Nikica Jelavic may return to the top tier with West Ham United, (5/2 for a top 10 finish), who appear to be leaving no stone unturned in their striker quest.
Last but not least, the rumour reel returns to David de Gea, who is finally expected to complete his drawn-out move to Real Madrid, now the Spanish giants are said to be offering Manchester United a mooted £29m.
