Watford bring in Miguel Britos from Napoli (13:00)
The Hornets have further bolstered their defence by bringing in centre back Britos on a three-year deal. The uncapped Uruguayan won two Coppa Italia and one Supercoppa Italiana during his time in the south of Italy.

Sunderland sign Kaboul (21:19)
Sunderland have completed the signing of Tottenham defender Younes Kaboul, with the France international signing a four-year deal for an undisclosed fee, and becomes the club’s fourth signing of the summer.

The move comes seven years after the Frenchman’s agent said his client, “wouldn’t join Sunderland even if there was an earthquake”.

Getafe loan Sunderland’s Vergini (11:19)

The 22-year-old follows Fernando Hierro, Ivan Campo and Marcos Alonso in switching from the Bernabeu to the Macron (Reebok) Stadium, and signs on a three-year deal after being released.

Nabil Bentaleb signs new Spurs deal (20:30)
The 20-year-old Algeria international has signed a new five-year contract with Tottenham.

Arda Turan is a Barcelona player (20:15)
The Catalan treble-winning club have announced the signing of Turkey international Turan on a five-year contract for £24m.

However, he will be unable to play for Barca until January following the Spanish giants’ transfer ban.

There are also reports suggesting that Barcelona have included a clause that means they can sell him back to Atletico but pay a 10 per cent penalty before July 20th, two days after their presidential elections.

Juve tied down duo 17:30
Manager Max Allegri (one year) and midfielder Claudio Marchisio (five years) have signed new deals with Serie A champions Juventus.

Juventus confirm Andrea Pirlo exit (15:07)
Serie A champions Juventus have finally announced that pass-master Pirlo is to join MLS side New York City.

Kenji Gorre pens new Swansea deal (14:49)
Swansea City have secured former Man Utd academy striker Gorre to a new contract, with the Dutch youngster agreeing a three-year deal to stay at the Liberty Stadium.

Angelo Henriquez exits Old Trafford (14:44)
Another talented attacker has departed Man Utd, as Croatian club Dynamo Zagreb have made Chile hitman Henriquez’s loan deal permanent, according to the Red Devils’ official website.

The Hoops have extended Henry’s stay at Loftus Road, with the midfielder agreeing a new one-year deal.

Lee Cattermole has signed a new five-year contract with Sunderland, with his previous having been set to expire next summer.

Black Cats boss Dick Advocaat stated: “He’s the controller of the side, the motivator, the leader.”

AC Milan confirm Bacca deal (13:30)
AC Milan have confirmed the signing of Colombia international forward Carlos Bacca from Spanish side Sevilla. The new San Siro arrival had been previously linked with Atletico Madrid and Arsenal, but will become a Rossoneri player after a medical is passed.

Europa League champions Sevilla have agreed terms to sign French defender Adil Rami from AC Milan, the Spanish club said on their website. The centre back previously featured in La Liga for Valencia before departing for Serie A.

Republic of Ireland international defender Paul McShane has joined Reading after becoming a free agent this summer. The 29-year-old left Hull City after their relegation from the Premier League, and rejoins former Tigers and Ireland teammate Stephen Quinn, who also just recently arrived at the Madejski Stadium.

Brentford snare Denmark defender Andreas Bjelland (10:07)
Championship club Brentford have announced the signing of Danish centre back Andreas Bjelland, formerly of Eredivisie outfit Twente. The 26-year-old has been capped 21 times for Denmark, and the ambitious Bees are thought to have forked out a potential club record fee of €3m for the defender.

Uruguay centre back Sebastian Coates has made his loan spell at Sunderland from Liverpool permanent, signing a four-year deal at the Stadium of Light.

Atletico Madrid and Brazil centre half Joao Miranda has left La Liga for Serie A side Inter Milan. The Nerazzurri could also net Barcelona right back Martin Montoya and diminutive France attacker Mathieu Valbuena, who joined Dynamos Moscow last summer.

Swansea City have completed the signing of Braga and Portugal striker Eder for an undisclosed fee. The 27-year-old scored 10 goals for the Portuguese club in the Primeira Liga last season.

Lewis Holtby has completed a permanent move to Bundesliga club Hamburg from Tottenham, having spent last season on loan with the German outfit.

Watford make Matej Vydra deal permanent (12:47)
The Hornets have finally tied Czech Republic attacker Vydra to a five-year deal at Vicarage Road, snapping up the striker from Italian club Udinese, who are also owned by the Pozzo family in charge at Watford.

Vydra had previously spent two seasons on loan with the Hertfordshire side, netting 36 Championship goals across those separate stints.

German champions Bayern Munich have completed the signing of Brazil forward Douglas Costa from Shakhtar Donetsk. The Brazilian has signed a five-year deal and will wear the club’s number 11.
