It was an impressive showing from Leeds United on the first day of the season, as they held a strong Burnley side to a draw.

While Uwe Rosler may rotate the pack somewhat, the visitors still should have a capable side and are 8/5 with Coral for a win in 90 minutes.

“For Burnley I had 18 outfield players, or 18 first-team players,” said Rosler, talking ahead of the tie.

“In the first five weeks of the season we’ve got a possible seven competitive games. For us that’s a tough match programme with the players we have available. I would welcome a quick speedy recovery from Luke [Murphy] and Tommy [Bianchi].

“The way I like to play is intense, quick, transition football. For that you need a certain freshness. That means that a natural part of my philosophy is rotating in a sensible way so the team which started against Burnley will most likely not be the same team which starts against Doncaster.

“We have a good squad who give me options but when you see on a match programme, we don’t have the biggest squad compared to Burnley. We need a bit of fortune.”

Striker Mirko Antenucci’s wonder goal opened the scoring at Elland Road against the Clarets and his price of 4/1 to score inside 90 minutes and Leeds to win is well worth considering, while new signing Stuart Dallas who also impressed on his debut is 11/4 to net anytime.

Local lad Alex Mowatt has seen his stock rise over the last season while at Leeds and the midfielder will be hoping to get on the scoresheet against his hometown side with 11/4 odds.

Doncaster, meanwhile, struggled on their opening match of the season as they played out a 1-1 draw at home to Bury with Harry Forrester opening the scoring deep into injury time, only for the club to concede just moments later.

The attacker is 7/2 in anytime, while last season’s top scorer Nathan Tyson is 2/1 in the same market, while veteran midfielder James Coppinger is also good for a goal and is 11/2 anytime.

Since the club’s League One Play-off Final victory against Leeds in 2008, they have only beaten the West Yorkshire side once in eight attempts; a 2-1 win over the Whites at Elland Road in March 2014 though perhaps surprisingly, none of the scorers on that occasion are still at their respective clubs.

Coral’s top tip: Antenucci scores & Leeds win in 90 minutes @ 4/1
