Coral are looking to Lancashire with this tempting Capital One Cup treble, where lucky customers can take advantage of excellent odds available for the exciting midweek action ahead.

Northwest outfits Blackburn Rovers, Burnley and Wigan Athletic are a princely price of 11/2 all to be victorious over 90 minutes in their respective cup outings. This top trio are all resounding favourites to take the spoils from their tussles, but here are yet more reasons they are worth backing.

Blackburn Rovers v Shrewsbury Town
Shropshire side Shrewsbury, freshly promoted to League One, face a tough challenge as they travel to Ewood Park, where Championship regulars Rovers are 5/6 odds-on favourites to take this tie.

Blackburn’s motto may be “Arte et Labore”, loosely meaning “by skill and hard work”, but Rovers also boast plenty of flair and firepower with Scotland sharpshooter Jordan Rhodes (evens in the anytime market) leading the line and Nathan Delfouneso (7/4) recently drafted in to support.

Port Vale v Burnley
Also 5/6 shouts to triumph in normal time are Burnley, recently returned to the Championship, but still offering a strong roster of players who gave their all in the Premier League.

The Clarets do not have far to trek to Staffordshire to vanquish the Vale, who are labouring a league below, and should not have the quality to trouble them on their travels.

Sean Dyche can count on Manchester United academy graduate Tom Heaton, who was arguably Burnley’s top performer last term. The talented custodian is 31/20 to help the Clarets keep a clean sheet, while striker Sam Vokes (6/5 to notch anytime) may have clinched a starting spot after striking last time out.

Wigan Athletic v Bury
The Latics play host to a Greater Manchester derby and are 10/11 chances to sink League One rivals Bury, who are new arrivals to the third tier.

With a squad of greater experience and quality on their books, 2013 FA Cup winners Wigan will be expecting to dispatch the Shakers with ease, and Northern Ireland international striker Will Grigg is 9/2 to net first as their main goal threat.
