Napoli need points from AC Milan and under-pressure Inzaghi

Napoli welcome fallen giants AC Milan to the Stadio San Paolo, and must take all three points from this tussle if they are to keep challenging rivals Roma for a Champions League spot.
A shock 4-2 defeat to Empoli midweek saw Rafa Benitez’s boys slip five behind the Giallorossi in the Serie A standings, but the southern Italian side are odds-on at 1/2 with Coral to bounce back by beating Milan.
The hosts have conceded six in their past three outings across all competitons, while the Rossoneri’s rearguard have kept just one clean sheet in their last eight, meaning odds of 12/1 for both sides to strike in both halves could prove cracking value.
Milan are also without a win in their last four league games, so backing a draw at 10/3 may be more prudent than a Rossoneri triumph at 5/1.
AC Milan coach and striking legend Pippo Inzaghi has come under-fire for his team’s poor performances, with the Milan giants set to finish the season in midtable mediocrity.
However, the 41-year-old tactician recently told media he has no plans to exit AC, stating: “We have to finish the season well. I will not be resigning, that’s for cowards.
“I will put on a brave face like I always did as a player, I could only resign if I saw that my players were no longer committed to the cause.”
Inzaghi’s trip to Naples will be made much tougher by the absence of suspended Frenchmen Philippe Mexes and Jeremy Menez. The latter’s attacking input will be particularly difficult to replace, so the likes of Roma-owned Mattia Destro (17/2 to strike first), Japan playmaker Keisuke Honda (3/1 to find the target anytime) and Giampaolo Pazzini (17/2 to close the scoring) must rack-up goals on the road.
Milan may have won the reverse 2-0, but Napoli have an excellent recent record against the Rossoneri on home turf, having suffered just one defeat in the past 10 attempts from their guests.
Argentina attacker Gonzalo Higuain will be leading the goal charge and has hit three in his last three appearances against AC, so is an excellent chance at 7/2 to draw first blood, or 4/1 to bag a brace or better.
Meanwhile, skipper Marek Hamsik was on target last time out and is available at 6/4 to strike again anytime, while crafty wingman Jose Callejon can be backed at a superb 7/5 in the same market.
