Klose and co looking to steer Lazio ahead of Roma by beating Inter

Germany icon and veteran Miroslav Klose has been the hero for Lazio in both of the last two home meetings against Inter Milan, netting the winner in 1-0 victories. The Polish born poacher is 6/5 with Coral to score again anytime here, and 9/2 to get the last goal.

Both teams will be desperate to triumph in this match, especially as the capital club could overtake bitter rivals Roma into second place, while the San Siro side can still qualify for Europe.

Lazio, though, who have won their last four at home against Inter, are odds-on favourites at 10/11 for victory and 15/2 to do so by a 1-0 scoreline once more.

But one player that will be fired up for this clash is Brazil international midfielder Anderson Hernanes, who spent four years with the Rome outfit.

“I already know that being at the Olimpico will be an emotional moment, it will be a fantastic feeling,” the Inter star said. “It was very difficult to say goodbye to Lazio. Will I celebrate if I score? We’ll have to see what happens in that moment.”

Hernanes, who is a 10/3 chance to net against his former club, added: “Mathematically we can still qualify for the Europa League, and that’s what we’re playing for, starting with the match against Lazio.”

There will also be some Premier League interest for viewers in this game, with the likes of former British-based stars Lukas Podolski, Gary Medel and Nemanja Vidic likely to feaure. They are respective 3/1, 6/1 and 15/2 shouts in the anytme market.

But Serbian striker Filip Djordjevic, of Lazio, has stated his side are going for the win, saying: “Both Roma and Napoli have difficult fixtures, like us, but right now we are only thinking of Inter. We are one point away from second place, and we want to get it.”

Djordjevic, who has eight goals in all competitions this term, is 5/4 to net anytime, while double scorer against Inter this term Felipe Anderson is 7/4 in the same market.

Inter, who are currently down in eighth place in Serie A, beat Lazio 4-1 last term at the San Siro, and are unbeaten in six, so will be looking to take that confidence into this match. They can be backed at 3/1 to win, or 12/5 to grab a draw.
