Hawks, Grizzlies Game 5 Home Favourites in NBA Betting at Coral

Top seeds Atlanta Hawks will be looking to rebound from a pair of losses in Brooklyn when they return home on Wednesday for Game 5 of their first-round playoff series against the Nets as heavy nine-point favourites in NBA betting with Coral.
The Hawks continue to struggle on the road, extending their current SU losing streak to four games with a 120-115 overtime loss in Brooklyn in Game 3, which evened the series as two games apiece.
Atlanta has also failed to pick up an ATS win so far in the NBA Playoffs, and is a worrisome 0-6-1 ATS in their last seven games overall.
But, despite their recent struggles away from Philips Arena, the Hawks have been consistent winners on home court, picking up SU wins in 12 of their last 14 home contests, including three victories over the Nets, and have held opponents to an average of just 88.8 points per game in their last five home dates.
Simply put, the Nets’ home victories over Atlanta have saved their season. Prior to Game 4, Brooklyn had not won back-to-back games since early April, going 3-6 SU in their previous nine.
With their emotional overtime win on Monday night, the Nets are now 5-0 ATS in their last five in NBA betting, and may have stolen the momentum as the series returns to Atlanta.
However, the Nets must still overcome their brutal road record against the Hawks, which has seen them lose four straight SU, and go 2-12 SU in their last 14 visits to Atlanta. The bright side for loyal sports betting fans playing the Nets is their strong 5-1 ATS record in their last six road dates with the Hawks.
Portland Trail Blazers @ Memphis Grizzlies (-5.5)
The Portland Trail Blazers will try to stave off elimination when they hit the hardwood in Game 5 of their series with the Memphis Grizzlies as 5.5-point underdogs in NBA Playoffs betting at Coral’s online sportsbook.
Portland extended their season by at least a game after falling behind 3-0 in the series, posting a 99-92 Game 4 win in Rip City on Monday night. The win ended the Blazers’ seven-game SU and ATS losing streak that threatened to derail an otherwise strong campaign in which they won 51 games and claimed the Northwest Division title.
The Blazers travel to Memphis for Wednesday night’s Game 5 matchup at FedExForum riding a six-game SU road losing streak against the Grizzlies, including five straight ATS losses. Portland has failed to score more than 86 points in four of those losses, while losing by an average margin of 10 points per game.
Conversely, for Memphis, their loss in Game 4 ends a four-game SU and ATS win streak, but the Grizzlies remain a strong 6-1 SU and ATS in their last seven home contests, and appear poised to punch their ticket to the second round of the NBA Playoffs with a win on Wednesday night.
