Sampdoria can sink Blucerchiati old boy Mancini’s out-of-form Inter

Hosts Sampdoria are 13/8 with Coral to triumph when they welcome Inter Milan to the Stadio Luigi Ferraris, after winning an impressive three Serie A battles on the bounce.
The Blucerchiati’s fantastic form is in stark contrast to Inter’s recent escapades, after the San Siro side crashed out of the Europa League midweek. Without a win in five across all competitions, it is vital for the Nerazzurri to pick up points in Genoa.
However, Samp are now firmly in the race for third spot, and Champions League football, after downing Roma last time out. Unbeaten at home this season, the Blucerchiati will not want to let that record slip, in a clash crammed with players who have been heroes for both sides.
Ex-Inter star Sinisa Mihajlovic’s side have kept a clean sheet in their past two outings and are 7/2 to win to nil at fortress Luigi Ferraris.
Top Samp scorer Citaden Eder is 15/8 to grab a goal against the Nerazzurri anytime, while highly-rated Luis Muriel has two strikes in his past three appearances, so is a tempting 2/1 in the same market.
Former Inter frontman Samuel Eto’o should round-off the talented attacking trio tasked with testing the guest’s backline, and is 11/2 to fire home first.
Nerazzurri boss Roberto Mancini will also be pitted against his old club, as he returns to his former stomping ground in Genoa. A Blucerchiati hero on the field, he must now defeat them from the dugout.
Inter certainly hold the historical advantage and have not been beaten by their hosts their past nine clashes across all competitions.
The visitors have already triumphed against Mihajlovic’s men twice this term, and are 13/8 to take all three points on their travels, or 9/4 to split the spoils.
Star striker Mauro Icardi spent three-and-a-half season’s with Sampdoria, and is another former favourite who could damage his previous employer. The Argentina-capped frontman has struck four times in his last three outings against the Blucerchiati and is 5/1 to breach their backline first, or 7/1 to bag a brace or better.
On-loan Arsenal forward Lukas Podolski missed out midweek, but could start here, and is 2/1 in the anytime market, while Xherdan Shaqiri could also return to the starting XI and is 15/2 to close the scoring.
