£5 Saturday acca pays over £600

Shot at landing a big win

We have a reduced service on Saturday afternoon, with the final round of English Premier League matches going on Sunday. There’s plenty to catch our interest across Europe however, including the League One play-off, Scottish Premiership and the continent’s top divisions.

Time is running out to land that one big football acca punters aim for, so let’s get on with it. Below you’ll find our six best picks of Saturday, and if we’re smart, every £5 staked returns £603.30. That’ll do nicely! Prices and returns are correct at the time of writing – let’s take a closer look at the half-dozen.

Bradford beat Millwall

A place in next season’s Championship fixture list is at stake here, but who will it be, Bantams or Lions? The pair put it all on the line at Wembley, in what promises to be a thriller, but we’re siding with Stuart McCall’s side. Millwall are no strangers to a visit to the national stadium, but their recent form there doesn’t do a lot to inspire, suffering defeat at this stage vs Barnsley last year. Will heartache stick? This is a straight shoot-out, and we’re happy to take the price on Bradford at a cracking 17/10.

Motherwell beat Inverness

This match means everything to Caley, and nothing to Well, with the highlanders bottom of the league, and fighting for their lives. The board have invited season ticket holders to bring a friend for free, in an attempt to pack-out the stadium and roar the club on to safety. Promises to be a nervy day, while Motherwell can relax and play football. Inverness appeal, of course, but we can’t miss the chance to oppose bottom of the league at 7/2. On form alone, the away win is much bigger than it should be.

Hamilton beat Dundee

Accies are the other half of the draw on Saturday, results go against them and they will finish bottom and be relegated. Win and they will save their skin. It really is as simple as that, and they have the fate of the club in their own hands, fans can’t really ask any more than that. Dundee have been picking up points, but it took a big effort to see them beat the drop, and now safe, I see the emotion catching up with them. Hamilton to get the desired result is 4/5.

Peterhead beat Forfar

League One play-off, will Peterhead hold their ground, or will Forfar replace them? The home side were beaten 2-1 in the reverse of this fixture in midweek, but were in complete charge of the day, sitting 1-0 up at half-time, through a goal from McAllister. They saw McMullin sent off for a second bookable offence not long after the restart, and collapsed as a result. Back with even numbers, and at home, we support The Blue Toon at 7/10.

Deportivo beat Las Palmas

Moving into La Liga and we are dead against the division’s strugglers Las Palmas. They go into this tie on the back of a horrible four-match losing run, and are winless in six. Deportivo’s form isn’t too much better, but they enjoy home advantage and boast an impressive head-to-head record vs Saturday’s opponents. Home comforts count for us at 7/10.

RB Leipzig beat Frankfurt

Wrapping things up in the German Bundesliga and we throw our support behind the division’s second best team in RB Leipzig. The free-spending Germans have suffered just one defeat in their last eight, a run showing five wins. That’s worth noting when compared to the form of Frankfurt, which reads three losses in-a-row, and just one win in 10. Trust the stats and have a go at an eye-catching 10/11. That’s generous.
