£10 Sunday acca pays £308
Published:Away wins dominate our top-five
Man Utd vs Chelsea headlines an action-packed Easter Sunday of sport, and Coral have everything you need to mark the occasion with a winner. There’s Premier League, Scottish Premiership, La Liga and Budesliga picks amongst our accumulator.
Away wins should shine bright on the day, if our thinking is correct, and that’s the tactic in our punchy five-fold, which returns £308.80 for every £10 down. Prices and returns are correct at the time of writing. Read on as we run through the hopefuls…..
Liverpool beat West Brom
The Reds have been far from reliable this year, but they do go to The Hawthorns on Sunday unbeaten in six, showing just two defeats in 10. That run includes wins over Arsenal and Everton, and they were last seen beating Stoke 2-1 last weekend.
If betting on the game as a single, it’s worth knowing that both teams have scored in each of Liverpool’s last seven and the same again will net you 19/20. We give the edge to Liverpool here though as they look to finish the season on a high and cement that top-four finish. Second remains a possibility, and Klopp’s boys are playing with confidence for the first time in a while. Away day starts us off at a very useful 10/11.
Chelsea beat Man Utd
We have looked into this game in more detail, and you will find our in-depth preview under the football section of the site, but to give you the highlights, Chelsea have beaten Man Utd twice already this season, 4-0 in the league and 1-0 in the FA Cup. Two wins without conceding will give Conte’s side major confidence going to Old Trafford, something the locals are running low on.
Draws have cost The Red Devils dear this season, and they stuttered to another level finish in midweek vs Anderlecht in the Europa League. Mourinho blamed his sloppy strikers for missing the chance to grab a first-leg lead, and they’ll find chances difficult to come by against a disciplined Blues backline. 9/5 will do a job.
Celtic beat Ross County
We go to the Scottish Premiership for another away win as Celtic are picked to better Ross County and sharpen their tools for the upcoming Old Firm double-header. The Bhoys have already won the title, six in-a-row is in the cabinet, but they have a real shot at winning a historic treble and going through the season unbeaten. Celtic claimed each of their last two vs the struggling Staggies without conceding, and deserve to be 1/3.
Sevilla beat Valencia
One from La Liga and it’s not difficult to back Sevilla this season. They’re up in fourth going into game 32 of the season, and the right set of results here could see them leapfrog Atletico Madrid into third. The White and Reds hammered Deportivo 4-2 last time and Jorge Sampaoli’s side won 2-1 when last meeting Sunday’s opponents. We envisage something similar.
Shalke beat Darmstadt
We didn’t need to think twice about going against Darmstadt, who are rock-bottom of the Bundesliga, with a woeful record of four wins and three draws against 21 defeats. They have conceded a whopping 56 goals in 28 starts, and Schalke round us off as confident picks at 4/6.
