Norwich beat Burton
The Canaries look serious about reclaiming their place in the play-offs, and earned a 2-2 draw with leaders Newcastle in midweek. They’re unbeaten in six, just four points off Sheffield Wednesday in the major places. Burton have lost five of their last seven and are on the verge of the relegation zone. Norwich make sense at 19/20.
Leeds beat Ipswich
Leeds beat Ipswich earlier in the season, courtesy of a 1-0 score, and look certain to extend their season and threaten a return to Premier League football. They won in midweek, which would’ve done confidence the world of good, while Ipswich have managed just one positive in six. Leeds at a handy 6/4.
Sheff Weds beat Forest
It is easy to oppose Nottingham Forest in their current shape and they enter following back-to-back defeats against Norwich and Fulham, conceding eight goals in the process. Wednesday are unbeaten in four, and have won each of their last three. Confidence is key at 13/10.
Sheff Utd beat Scunthorpe
Game of the day from League One and the outcome of this will go some way to determining who goes up as champions. Scunthorpe seem to be feeling the pace of late, failing to win any of their last three outings. They have scored only one goal in that time, while their opponents have notched five. The league leaders are trusted at 8/13.
Plymouth beat Hartlepool
In League Two Plymouth, currently in second-place, look to pile the pressure on leaders Doncaster with a win over struggling Hartlepool. The Monkey Hangers have lost three and drawn one of their last four starts, and haven’t beaten Plymouth since 2015. That run includes a 5-0 mauling last year. Argyle do a shift at evens.
Hearts beat Inverness
In Scotland, a rejuvenated Hearts, who recruited to great effect in January, look back on track and if they can keep their form going – winning each of their last two – and the problems persist at Ibrox, they have a chance of a top-three finish. Caley are bottom, and rightly so. Jambos at 1/2.
Hibs beat Raith
City rivals Hibs have been given a golden opportunity to strengthen their title push when facing a Raith side who have, incredibly, lost each of their last six. It pays to oppose Rovers at the minute, and that’s exactly what we do at 4/9.
Morton beat Falkirk
Lastly, The Ton gave a great account of themselves at Ibrox in the Scottish Cup last week, scoring first before losing 2-1. They beat Falkirk at Cappielow 2-0 just four weeks ago, and are capable of going in again at 29/20.
