Have you got the Horn?
With New Bay, California Chrome and Gleneagles all running scared, it's up to Golden Horn alone to produce a special Coral-Eclipse moment. Can he put The Grey Gatsby away? Bet big in our 40th year of sponsorship.

Life in the old dog yet
Kingsgate Native continues to delay retirement by showing all of his old speed. The gelding was unlucky in the Temple Stakes before taking the Achilles Stakes at Haydock. Back him to go one better than last year.

Ball has it in the bag
Jellicle Ball had a tough time of it in the 1000 Guineas, but John Gosden's filly has since found her level in Listed company. She is the top-rated horse in this field and really should bounce away from this lot. Bet big.

Last year's Chester Cup winner Suegioo caught the eye in a big way when slicing through from last to claim fifth in the Northumberland Plate. Back this high class handicapper to outslog them in the Coral Marathon.

Miss Marjurie had Lady Tiana's measure when she won the Pinnacle Stakes. Denis Coakley's stable star should confirm form and could improve further given her rapid progression this season. Get punting.

Does Battersea have the power?
Battersea made rapid progress through the handicap ranks last season as he won two extremely valuable events to rocket up to his current mark of 99. Can he grab a comeback win or will he dog it? Have a punt at Coral.

Betting Highlights
After a series of defections, Derby winner Golden Horn's task suddenly looks much easier. Epsom runner-up Jack Hobbs bolstered his form by winning the Irish Derby, so The Grey Gatsby and co have a daunting task ahead. Bet on a special performance.

Mecca's Angel has been taken out (again), but we still have a clash of the generations to enjoy. Don't rule out old man Kingsgate Native, who was second in this race last year and scampered away with the Achilles Stakes last time out. Back the old boy.

After only five starts, it seems clear that Farhh's full brother Basem has inherited some of the dual Group 1 winner's fragility. His three wins have shown that the talent is there too. Back Godolphin's colt to show his potential in the Coral Challenge.

Jellicle Ball ran a fair race at Royal Ascot and holds the best official rating, but her career hasn't reached the heights once hoped. In contrast, Black Cherry seemed to have come ripe when powering away with a handicap last time out. Take your pick.

Luca Cumani interrupted John Gosden's recent domination of this race by saddling Emirates Queen to win in 2013. This year, he relies upon Jordan Princess, who was unlucky in running when beaten by Miss Marjurie on her seasonal return. Get involved.

From serious betting events such as the Cheltenham Festival and Glorious Goodwood to the far less in-demand wintery days at Wincanton and all-weather outings at Lingfield, there is certainly not a shortage of horse racing odds on offer at Coral to take advantage of. It is all about the flat season in the summer months, with some fantastic top class action including Group 1 spectaculars like the Coral Eclipse, July Cup, Sussex Stakes and King George VI & Queen Elizabeth Stakes. There is also the final classic of the season, the St Leger at Doncaster, plus some ultra-competitive sprint handicaps like the Stewards' Cup at Goodwood as well as some excellent summer jumping for National Hunt fans. The Jockeys Championship also adds plenty of spice to the flat season, with defending champion Richard Hughes locked in a fascinating battle with Ryan Moore. Coral has all the markets covered, and there are far more opportunities available with coral.co.uk rather than simply picking a winner, as backing each-way offers the chance to pick a horse to finish in the first three, or even four depending on the type of race and number of runners.
