BVB eyeing move for Palace forward
There has been a lot of talk surrounding the future of Wilfried Zaha ever since his move back to Crystal Palace in 2015.
He was supposed to be Sir Alex Ferguson’s last parting gift to Manchester United fans but he was never in favour with Fergie’s replacement David Moyes.
Upon his return to Selhurst Park he has improved immeasurably over the last three years. He has notched 16 goals and 16 assists in the last two seasons.
And now it looks like Borussia Dortmund could be making a move for the 25-year-old.

Hammers strike deal for Yarmolenko
The first part of the jigsaw will be the departure of BVB’s Andriy Yarmolenko. It’s been widely reported that West Ham United are lining up a move for the Ukrainian forward.
A reported £17.5 million deal has been agreed between the two clubs with the Hammers looking to add some creativity up front.
How Yarmolenko fits in alongside Marko Arnautovic up top will be one for new boss Manuel Pellegrini to ponder.
But this will free-up a big chunk of the funds necessary to begin negotiations with Palace.
Growing British influence
There has been a noticeable trend of English youngsters making the move to the Bundesliga in the last few years.
That includes Mandela Egbo and Reece Oxford at Borussia Mochengladbach.
Kaylen Hinds at Wolfsburg or Jadon Sancho at Dortmund who have or are still plying their trade in Germany.
But whilst those players may be in the early beginnings of their career. Snaring Zaha from the Premier League as he approaches his prime will be a big statement of intent.
Since the departure of Pierre-Emerick Aubamayeng, Dortmund are in need of an injection of pace and excitement at Signal Iduna Park.
They’ve relied on the mercurial talents of Christian Pulisic for too long but Zaha could help re-find the winning touch.
Wing-man
His impact at club level has grown proving the move to Manchester United was warranted if maybe just a little premature.
Zaha’s influence at Palace can be heavily felt by their win ratio with and without him in the side.
Palace lost all ten of the Premier League matches he was absent for. But when he came back into the team in March they amassed seventeen points which was enough to see them stay up.
He is used to being the main-man now, but would have like-minded players on the same wavelength as him at Dortmund.
Jadon Sancho lit up the league in his debut season. It’ll be exciting to watch Max Philipp, Marco Reus and Pulisic link-up with Zaha.
If they can find a striker then Dortmund could have a big say in the Bundesliga next season.
