Yorkhill cut for opening day win at Champion Hurdle

Coral’s traders have trimmed the odds on Yorkhill triumphing in next month’s Champion Hurdle at Cheltenham.
Yorkhill already has two Festival wins and was considered a potential Gold Cup horse by some pundits.
But trainer Willie Mullins recently revealed the Champions Hurdle is now the most likely target.
As a result, he’s now 10/1 (was 12/1) to win in the opening day highlight.
“Yorkhill hasn’t scaled the heights expected of him over fences this season, so the decision to send him back over hurdles is not unexpected. He remains available at double figure odds for the Champion Hurdle, but he is a two-time Festival winner whose presence will add interest to a market dominated by Buveur D’Air,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
