A potential takeover bid from two Hollywood giants is on the horizon
Despite being in the National League at present, Wrexham AFC are 20/1 to be a Premier League club by 2026.
The club from North Wales are subject of a takeover bid from Hollywood giants Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, with the pair stating they intend to make the club ‘a global force’.
With six games gone in the 2020/21 National League season, the Red Dragons, led by Dean Keates, sit 14th in the table with just two wins and seven points.
Coral’s John Hill said: “Wrexham fans will already be dreaming about what the future may hold for their club with Reynolds and McElhenney expected to complete a takeover. We have already seen interest in our betting on the Welsh club to reach the lofty heights of the Premier League by 2026.”
“With ambitious plans for the Welsh club, a Hollywood ending is not out of the question. Wrexham currently sit in the fifth tier of English football but with the right investment, they could start moving up the leagues,” added Hill.
