Weekend in pictures for November 11-13
It was another enthralling weekend of sport peppered with thrills, spills and successes with a jam-packed football fixture list involving 2018 World Cup qualifiers and a battle between old enemies England and Scotland.
There was also top-class horse racing action around Cheltenham for The Open meeting, the Autumn Internationals in rugby union and UFC took the show on the road to the Big Apple for the big bout between Conor McGregor and Eddie Alvarez.

This weekend was all about international football action, as teams across the globe clashed in 2018 World Cup qualifiers. England players did Gareth Southgate’s chances of keeping the top job, or poisoned chalice, no harm by slaying fierce foes Scotland on Friday.
