What caught the eye on a historic weekend
What a weekend of sports results, and there really is no better place to start than with Roger Federer. Winning Wimbledon for a record eighth time on Sunday, the 35-year-old confirmed himself as not only a tennis great – but a sporting legend.
Away from the sunshine of centre court, Celtic kicked us off by beating Linfield in the Champions League. The game was marred by missile throwing, Leigh Griffiths narrowly missed by a glass bottle. Below you’ll find our favourite snaps from Friday to Sunday.
