Our traders have made Wayne Rooney 12/1 to manage England before the end of 2030 after he was named the permanent Derby boss this afternoon.
Rooney, who began his playing career with Everton, is 10/1 to manage to the Toffees by the end of 2030, while he is 16/1 to become Manchester United manager in that period.
“If Wayne Rooney is anywhere near as successful as a manager than he was as a player, he will have a great career in the dugout. He is only 12/1 to become England manager at some point in the next 10 years, while he is even shorter in the betting than to take charge at Everton during the next decade,” said Coral’s John Hill.
