UFC 205 fivefold acca: Turn a fiver into more than £60 betting on octagon bouts

UFC 205 fivefold acca

After a long and tiring campaign to get MMA legalised in the state of New York, the UFC will finally get its big reward this weekend for a monumental card hosted at the prestigious Madison Square Garden.

Having overseen the long-awaited legalisation of the sport in the Big Apple, UFC 205 will arrive at New York City’s illustrious venue for what is arguably the best card ever made by the organisation.

Following a host of intriguing match-ups throughout the Preliminary Card, the historic event’s Main Card features no less than three world title bouts, including the showcase meeting between Conor McGregor and Eddie Alvarez.

So, ahead of the historic octagon action, Coral provide punters with a UFC 205 fivefold acca to enjoy for the Main Card contests. Backing these five selections with a £5 stake will return £63.25* and a £10 bet will see you earn £126.50*!

Tate to topple Pennington

Former women’s UFC bantamweight title holder Miesha Tate will be looking to bounce back from her defeat and dethroning at the hands of new champion Amanda Nunes when she collides with Raquel Pennington this weekend.

The 30-year-old is planning a route back to top of the pile and, with Nunes facing Ronda Rousey in December, ‘Cupcake’ is 8/15* to reign supreme in New York and boost her prospects once more.

Home fighter Weidman to down Romero

Former middleweight champion Chris Weidman is one fighter that was heavily involved in the successful campaigning to see the UFC allowed to strut its stuff in his home state of New York.

The now 32-year-old has not entered the octagon since losing his title to Luke Rockhold in December last year, but meets Yoel Romero in front of his own supporters for a UFC middleweight title eliminator.

With the opportunity to finally fight at home, Weidman will be eager to put in a strong performance and is 4/7* to overcome his Cuban opponent to set up a meeting with reigning 185lbs champion Michael Bisping.

Jedrzejczyk to defend title against Kowalkiewicz

In the first of three world title bouts scheduled for UFC 205, an intriguing all-Polish match-up sees reigning women’s strawweight Joanna Jedrzejczyk make a fourth defence of her crown against Karolina Kowalkiewicz.

The current 115lbs queen has been unstoppable in UFC and is undefeated in 12 octagon outings, making her a deadly force to be reckoned with and 3/10* to get the better of compatriot Kowalkiewicz.

Woodley to deal with Thompson threat

In the welterweight division, defending champion Tyron Woodley takes on the dangerous Stephen Thompson in his maiden title defence, after impressively stopping Robbie Lawler to earn the 170lbs strap in July.

The Missouri native has found himself as the underdog on countless occasions throughout his career and faces the same scenario this weekend, despite being champion. Against ‘Wonderboy’ he is a promising 6/4* to prevail in the biggest test of time with the UFC.

McGregor to dethrone Alvarez

In the highly anticipated main event, Ireland’s McGregor is aiming to make history by becoming the first fighter ever in the UFC to hold two separate world titles simultaneously.

The deadly Dubliner is 8/13* to dethrone current lightweight kingpin Alvarez in what is set to be a historic night at Madison Square Garden.
