UEFA Nations League tips: Belgium, Finland and Belarus feature

Another big night of International Football awaits
The UEFA Nations League has already produced some cracking games, including Turkey’s dramatic 3-2 comeback win in Sweden last night.
Ahead of another big night of international action, the Coral News Team return with five top tips on the evening’s games – kicking off with an away trip for Belgium…
The Red Devils are looking to build on their impressive World Cup semi-final berth. And they returned to action in fine form on Friday night, winning 4-0 at Hampden Park.
They face an Iceland side for who the good times look to be well and truly over. The Nordic outfit were thumped 6-0 by Switzerland in their first Nations League game.
With a defensive trio of Jan Vertonghen, Vincent Kompany and Toby Alderweireld to call on, sides far better than Iceland have failed to register against Belgium in recent times.
Moldova currently sit 175th in the FIFA World Rankings, and haven’t won a single home game since October 2013. Having lost their opening Nations League game 4-0 at Luxembourg, they should be easy prey for a decent Belarus side.
Igor Kriushenko’s side have won three of their last five games, including away wins at Azerbaijan and Slovenia.
With the high-scoring Anton Saroka also in good form, Belarus should pick up the points without too much trouble.
The Finns have dominated recent meetings between these sides, winning three of the last four. That included a comfortable 3-0 triumph in Helsinki in November 2017.
Markku Kanerva’s side tend to be pretty good on home soil, winning five of their last seven games in Finland – and drawing the other two.
With Estonia winless on their last five away trips, the hosts will likely prove too strong here.
Following an emphatic defeat of Moldova, Luxembourg will be eyeing up another comfortable win over one of the UEFA minnows.
San Marino have now lost 22 games on the spin – most of them in emphatic fashion. In fact, they’ve been outscored in both halves in 11 of their previous 12 matches.
Once amongst the bottom rung of European sides, Luxembourg are a much different proposition these days. They’ve won five of their last seven matches, including
Croatia reached their first ever World Cup Final last summer, and did it all in entertaining fashion.
In fact, all of their last six games have seen both sides find the net – including that thrilling 4-2 final defeat to France.
They visit a Spain side who are prolific at home. La Furia Roja have netted an almighty 40 goals in their last 11 home games. Featured in that run is a 6-1 demolition of Argentina. So this could be a real goal-fest at both ends.
