Odds and previews for tonight’s games

It’s the final batch of UEFA Nations League fixtures this evening, with plenty still to play for.

Tonight’s results will have an impact, one way or another, on everything from the Euro 2020 qualifying campaign to the next Nations League in 2020-21.

It’s a big night for Scotland in particular, who will be promoted if they beat Israel tonight. There’s a full preview of that game here.

Stick around though, for a one-stop guide to some of tonight’s other Nations League fixtures…

Portugal v Poland

This one’s a dead rubber. Portugal have already claimed group A3, and their place in next summer’s Nations League Finals, while Poland are relegated after failing to win their three matches.

Tonight’s hosts are 4/6 favourites, and are unbeaten in five since losing to Uruguay in the World Cup.

Portugal also won 3-2 in Poland last month, and the visitors for this reverse tie are out 5/1.

There’s no Cristiano Ronaldo in the Portugal squad for this one, so goalscorer favouritism lands at the feet of Andre Silva. The AC Milan striker is 16/5 favourite to open the scoring, with Arkadiusz Milik and Krzysztof Piatek at 8/1 apiece for the Poles.

Sweden v Russia

It’s all to play for in Group B2. A win will see Sweden promoted, but anything else will see Russia top the bunch.

The Swedes are 19/20 to win on home soil tonight, but they’ve failed to win their last five home games.

Goals are a problem too. Janne Andersson’s men have only scored more than once in one of their last six.

Russia are likely to produce a stout defence to seek the draw they need. The 2018 World Cup hosts are 17/5, with a draw 23/10. This is set to be a cagey one, a 1-0 Sweden win is 9/2 while 0-0 is 6/1.

Serbia v Lithuania

In Group C4, Serbia need to win to ensure they can fend off Romania and gain promotion.

Only Brazil, Swizterland and Chile have beaten the Serbians in their last 11 games, and they’re a confident 1/9 to defeat a Lithuania side with one win in 19.

The visitors are the longest price of the night at 28/1, while a draw is a similarly lengthy 17/2. Fulham’s Aleksandar Mitrovic is 15/8 to score first and 7/5 for two or more.

Kosovo v Azerbaijan

It’s a showdown finish in Group D3, where the winner of Kosovo v Azerbaijan earns promotion.

The hosts are two points ahead, so a draw would suffice too. Azerbaijan must win the game, and that could leave them exposed.

Kosovo, unbeaten in nine, are the 4/5 favourites, with the visitors out at 19/5. A Kosovo-promoting draw is 23/10.
