Trader’s Tips – Royal Ascot Day Two

We ask our resident racing trader for his tips from Wednesday’s action

After a tough start to the meeting, our Racing Trader Jason Ryan gets back on the horse, as it were, and provides you with his top tip for Wednesday’s Royal Ascot action.

You’ll have to act fast if you want to back it though, as it comes from the very first race of the day!

2.30 – Jersey Stakes

LE BRIVIDO’s effort in the French 2000 Guineas is the best piece of form on offer and provided he handles this quicker ground (his action suggests he should) then he should take all the beating in today’s opener. Dream Castle travelled like a proper horse at Newbury on his penultimate start but the way he finishes his races doesn’t appeal, especially when the selection hit the line strong in the French Classic. One at a massive price who could run well is True Valour for Johnny Murtagh. He didn’t run all that bad at Naas two starts ago and was only a short-head behind Lancaster Bomber in a maiden at Leopardstown which suggests the 100/1 quotes underestimate him somewhat.
