Trader’s Tips: Cheltenham Day Four NAP

Coral’s very own racing trader Jason Ryan gives you his NAP on Day Four of the Cheltenham Festival

It’s the final day of what has been an amazing Cheltenham Festival and many will be keenly awaiting the Gold Cup at 3.30pm this afternoon. There’s still some fantastic races to come before that though and our Racing Trader Jason Ryan, who’s 2/3 with his NAPs this week, picks out his best bet of the afternoon…

MONALEE – Albert Bartlett Novices’ Hurdle 2:50

“Henry De Bromhead has already tasted Grade 1 success this week with the lovable Special Tiara doing the business in the Queen Mother Champion Chase. Sub Lieutenant ran a cracker for the Waterford man in yesterday’s Ryanair Chase and I’m hoping he can go one better in today’s Albert Bartlett with MONALEE. This horse was getting 3lbs when finishing nearly four lengths behind today’s favourite, Death Duty, when the pair met in a Grade 2 at Navan. On that running, Gordon Elliott’s charge looks to have the edge but having watched Monalee sluice up at Clonmel last time out, it’s evident he’s a horse who is improving from run-to-run and over a longer trip and on better ground, he might well be able to turn the tables on his old foe.”
