Kempton 12.20 – Highway To Success

With Lord Lamington running here now following Huntingdon’s cancellation on Friday, this is a really competitive-looking juvenile hurdle, with several of the big yards represented.

My horse was a winner two runs ago, and has generally been running well, although he has a bit to find and it will probably take a career best effort to figure here.

The trainer [Suzi Best] gave me a nice winner last weekend though, and on the book that one needed to improve to win as well, so you never know!

Kempton 15.15 – Walt

Walt enjoyed his biggest career success at Kempton when winning their big three-mile handicap chase last February, so clearly goes well here, and he won well at Taunton two runs ago.

I think he ran well for a long way at a big price in the Ladbrokes Trophy last time as well, so with the sights lowered a little bit here, I think he’s got a very good chance here, in conditions that will suit him.

Kempton 15.45 – New Agenda

My final ride of the day, New Agenda, has to bounce back from a couple of disappointing looking runs, but his last win over hurdles was off a mark two pounds higher than he’s off now, so if was to come back to that form he could go well.
