The Stone Roses hot favourites to headline Glastonbury
Published:Speculation surrounding Sunday night’s headliner at Glastonbury is mounting, and bookmaker Coral has installed Stone Roses as the even money favourites to fill the slot. Taylor Swift is the 2-1 second favourite, ahead of Coldplay at 5-1. However, there has been money for Oasis in recent weeks, and Coral has cut their odds into 7-1 from 10-1 to headline.
“Glastonbury made their biggest line-up announcement last night, but there is still no word on Sunday’s headliner. The weight of money is behind Stone Roses, but there are still fans hoping that Oasis get their act together and reform,” said Coral’s Nicola McGeady.
