Super League: Hull FC take on Salford at KC Stadium

The Airlie Birds will be hoping to bounce back from a heavy 24-4 defeat at home against Huddersfield Giants last time out, as Salford visit.
Lee Radford’s side are heavily odds-on at 1/9 with Coral to record the win, while the Red Devils, who also narrowly lost last time out 22-20 to Castleford Tigers, are 11/2 to pick up two points.
“Last weekend is the worst I have had in rugby league,” Pearson said.
“I was very disappointed. It simply wasn’t good enough and I can assure the fans that everybody within the club knows it was not good enough.
“The fans know it wasn’t good enough and they are showing that by not coming to games. It is down to the team to show some desire and show the team spirit to get the performances right to convince those fans again,” he continued.
“There’s no hiding the fact we need to start winning and people need to look at themselves, myself included, and say can we give any more? If we can, then it needs to start on Friday night.”
“Sometimes when you are playing in such a good stadium you lose the type of mentality that a Castleford or a Widnes have, where the sum of their team is greater than their parts in a way,” said Pearson.
“In a very big stadium it can appear quiet, especially when the gates are not that big. But we know the gates are a reflection of how the team is doing.
“We need the fans to make some noise on Friday and get behind the team, as we need that support and it makes a difference.”
Centre Steve Michaels, who scored the only try against the Giants, is odds-on at 8/13 to score anytime, while Super League joint top-scorer Tom Lineham with 10, is 11/2 to cross first.
For Salford, Kevin Locke crossed twice last time out, and, as a result, is 7/4 anytime, while Scott Taylor and Theo Fages are 7/1 and 3/1 respectively in the same market.
