Our guide to what’s on today’s sporting agenda

Thursday’s jam-packed schedule brings us international horse racing action, as well as darts, golf, Esports and more.

All of the following events are scheduled to go ahead at the time of writing.

Horse Racing

We’ve got more early morning cards from Japan and Australia, with Sonoda getting the Japanese racing underway at 2:45. Cairns hosts Australia’s first races of the day from 3:22. There are cards from the likes of Nagoya, Mombetsu, Belmont, Pakenham and more throughout the morning.

Racing in France continues too, with four meetings from mid-morning to the afternoon. ParisLongchamp hosts a 10-race card from 10:10, with action from Beaumont-De-Lomange, Reims and Angers too.

Finally, we head across the pond where we’ve got another 10-race card from the Gulfstream Park course from 18:00, before Golden Gate Fields hosts nine more races from 20:45.

Darts

We’ve got another 21 matches throughout the day in the Modus Icons of Darts tournament from 10:30, where Paul Nicholson takes on Scott Mitchell in the opener. Mitchell is even money to start with a win.

They’ll be joined during the day by Darryl Fitton, David Evans, Arron Monk, Keelan Kay and Wessel Nijman, where Kay plays Monk in the final match of the day at 17:30.

From 19:30, we move on to night 28 of the PDC Home Tour where world number five Michael Smith is the 4/5 favourite to be the nightly winner.

Smith takes on Mike van Duivenbode in the opener and is the 1/4 favourite to start with a win. Luke Humphries is the 5/2 second favourite for the night 28 crown, and steps up to the oche in his first match at 20:00 against Andy Boulton.

Golf

Major golf tournaments resume from today, with the 2020 KLPGA Championship getting underway at the Lakewood Country Club in Yangju, South Korea, the first professional tournament since March.

World number six and 10-time LPGA tour winner Sei Young Kim heads the field as the 5/1 favourite, with Hye Jin Choi, Hyo Joo Kim and Jeongeun Lee close behind at 15/2. You can find Sung Hyun Park at 8/1.

Snooker

The Armenian Cup continues with three matches from 7:00. Mesrop Qamalyan takes on Vanik Arakelyan in the opener, with the former the odds-on 1/6 favourite.

Qamalyan faces Arman Petrosyan in the second match from 9:30. It looks an even match with Petrosyan 4/5 for the win, and Qamalyan 10/11.

Finally, Arakelyan heads back to the table to take on Petrosyan. The latter is the 1/6 favourite.

Esports

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive features heavily in the day’s Esports action, with four leagues in action from 4:00. Warriors International take on Recon 5 in the ESEA MDL North America league to start us off, with Recon 5 the 8/13 favourites.

Elsewhere, Saw take on AVEZ in the Blast Rising league at 19:45. It’s a match up which is too close to call, with our traders failing to split the pair. You can find 5/6 on either team to win.

There’s plenty of Dota 2 action to cast your eyes over too, with four leagues in action. EHOME are the outright 1/8 favourites to blow Keen Gaming away in the DPL-CDA Professional League at 9:00.

We’ll have Dota 2 matches from the Pit League and China Dota 2 Professional League throughout the day too.
