Three thrilling 3pm Premier League kick-offs
Saturday’s afternoon Premier League action boasts an array of intriguing match-ups, as in-form Southampton travel to Sunderland, top four crashers Leicester City host Watford and Swansea City visit Norwich City.
Sunderland v Southampton
- Premier League
- Saturday, November 7th
- Kick-off: 15:00 GMT
- Stadium of Light, Sunderland

The Black Cats endured a spectacular collapse last time out at Everton where, uncharacteristically for a Sam Allardyce side, they conceded six strikes. As Ronald Koeman’s men have found themselves among the goals of late, then, Saints look a superb shout at 11/4 to score three or more.
Koeman’s south coasters have surged up the Premier League table of late, and have not been beaten since September in all competitions. Scalping Sunderland should be no problem then, with goal-getter Graziano Pelle (4/1 to nab the opener) in potent form, and the likes of Sadio Mane and Dusan Tadic in support.
Though, the hosts do have a pairing with the potential for goals should Saints get sloppy, as dangerman Jermain Defoe (15/8 to strike anytime) and Scottish sharpshooter Steven Fletcher both bagged last time out.
Leicester City v Watford
- Premier League
- Saturday, November 7th
- Kick-off: 15:00 GMT
- King Power Stadium, Leicester

It’s tough to believe Leicester, who now formidably sit third in the Premier League, were at risk of relegation last term. A win against the Hornets would keep things ticking over nicely for the Midlands club, who have clocked-up at least one goal in all their games so far.
Yet, Ranieri’s rearguard has still been leaky, as the Foxes have remarkably kept just one clean sheet this campaign, so make much sense at a 5/2 price to win but with both teams to score. England international Jamie Vardy(10/3 to fire in first) and partner in poaching crime Riyad Mahrez are most likely to net for the hosts, while Odion Ighalo (7/4 to net anytime) is the most incisive Hornets hitman.
Norwich City v Swansea City
- Premier League
- Saturday, November 7th
- Kick-off: 15:00 GMT
- Carrow Road, Norwich

Norwich, meanwhile, will take hope from the Swans’ poor record of just one win on the road and could claim a draw at odds of 23/10. Yet, if star attacking outlets Bafetimbi Gomis (6/4 in the anytime market) and Andre Ayew (2/1) get slick service, the hosts could easily come unstuck.
