Slaven Bilic cut into 1/2 to be next Stoke manager
Published:Race is on to succeed Mark Hughes
Slaven Bilic has been cut into 1/2 from evens by Coral to be the next Stoke City manager.
The move follows a flurry of bets for the Croatian in the last 24 hours.
Gary Rowett and Martin O’Neill are joint-second best in the betting at 4/1 to replace Mark Hughes.
Former Everton boss Ronald Koeman is 14/1.
Coral’s John Hill said: “It’s been one-way traffic for Slaven Bilic in the next Stoke manager betting in the last 24 hours and after this sustained gamble, the former West Ham boss is now odds-on to replace Mark Hughes and make a return to management in the Premier League.”
Stoke currently sit 18th in the Premier League table and have the worst defensive record in the division.
The Staffordshire outfit’s next game sees them head to Manchester United on Monday night.
**Next Stoke manager
1/2 Slaven Bilic, 4/1 Gary Rowett, Martin O’Neill, 14/1 Ronald Koeman, 16/1 Graham Potter, Michael O’Neill, 20/1 Bar
