Sir Dragonet favourite for Epsom Derby after Chester Vase win

Latest odds and betting for the Epsom Derby
After success in yesterday’s Chester Vase, Sir Dragonet is now the clear favourite to win the Investec Derby at Epsom, according to our traders.
The Aidan O’Brien-trained three-year-old colt has had his odds slashed from 7/1 to become the outright favourite at 7/2.
Ballydoyle stablemate Circus Maximus has also had his odds trimmed for the Investec Derby following his victory in this afternoon’s Dee Stakes at Chester.
Elsewhere, Enable remains the odds-on favourite to ride to the Coronation Cup win at 4/5, with Waldgeist and Kew Gardens best placed to challenge at 4s and 5s respectively.
Pink Dogwood is the early leader in the Investec Oaks at 7/2, with Hermosa and Medhaayih just behind in the better at 6s.
“Circus Maximus has done his Derby claims no harm with his Chester success, but in the betting at least he’s overshadowed by his stablemate and fellow Roodee winner Sir Dragonet, who has halved in price in the 24 hours following his Chester Vase victory, and it will take a special performance in the remaining Classic trials for the colt to be displaced as Epsom favourite,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
