William Haggas-trained four-year-old 6/1 favourite
Ahead of Saturday’s Cambridgeshire Handicap at Newmarket, Sinjaari has been placed as the clear 6/1 favourite.
With final declarations for the weekend’s showpiece yet to be confirmed, the four-year-old, trained by William Haggas, has earned the early favouritism for the race.
Sinjaari could be mounted by the in-form jockey Tom Marquand, after teaming up with Haggas to ride Nahaarr to win the Ayr Gold Cup.
Tempus is next in the betting at 7/1, with Ilaraab out at 8/1 to claim the 1m1f Class 2 run at 15:35 on Saturday.
Coral’s David Stevens said: “William Haggas and Tom Marquand teamed up to land last Saturday’s Ayr Gold Cup with the gambled-on Nahaarr, and the pair could be the toast of punters once again this weekend, with Sinjaari already clear favourite for the Cambridgeshire.”
